The party has decided to take appropriate disciplinary action against the party's president, Member of Parliament, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, for criticizing the leadership of Samagi Jana Balawega and the party.

 According to the constitution of the Samagi Jana Balavega, the party's management and working committee will meet and take a decision in the next few days, said Tissa Attanayake, the national organizer of the party.

 Recently, due to the Samagi Jana Balavegaya not allocating time for him to make a statement in Parliament, Member of Parliament Sarath Fonseka took time from the ruling party and made a special statement in the Parliament and made critical comments regarding the leadership of the Samagi Jana Balavegaya and the party's program.
