The President informs the Speaker that he will not interfere in the Inspector General's problem

The President has informed the Speaker that he will refrain from interfering in the problem regarding the Inspector General of Police.

It is further reported that this decision has been taken due to the fact that the President has received the advice of a lawyer that if an Acting Inspector General of Police is appointed every two weeks during the upcoming presidential election season, he can submit election petitions based on that fact.
