Water Supply and Drainage Board says that water supply will be suspended for 12 hours from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm on Sunday 11th of August due to essential maintenance work of the Electricity Board.
Accordingly, the water supply to Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja Ala, Katunayake/Seeduwa, Municipal Council areas and Kelaniya, Wattala, Byagama, Mahara, Dompe, Ja - Ala, Katana, Minuwangoda, Divisional Council jurisdiction as well as a part of Gampaha Divisional Council the board said that it will be suspended.
The board also requests consumers to consume water sparingly.
