The Colombo Municipal Council says that steps have been taken to introduce a system for parking vehicles within the jurisdiction of the Colombo Municipal Council.
According to Manjula Kularatne, Deputy Director of the Traffic Division, one contractor will be deployed for each region.
He mentioned that it is planned to implement the relevant system within another 3 months and a favorable situation will be created for the customers who use the parking garages in the region.
He further stated that drivers will get an advantage in implementing it in the region and that there is the possibility of parking vehicles in several places within an hour in the relevant region.
