President Ranil Wickramasinghe says that when this country suffered a massive political and economic collapse in 2022, he did not take on the responsibility of building the country alone and that he was joined by a talented group of people who love the country.
Emphasizing that they fulfilled their responsibility properly, the President said that the people of this country today believe that only that group can move this country forward.
The President further stated that he first asked former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to support him in building the country and thanked him for the right decision he took that day.
