Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia Udayanga Weeratunga says that it has been decided to present Dhammika Perera as the presidential candidate of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
He mentioned that it has been decided not to name the candidate of the Sri Lanka Poduna Peramuna until the presidential election is announced as requested by the President.
Udayanga Weeratunga further stated that Dhammika Perera will be nominated as the presidential candidate of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna after the Election Commission gets the authority to announce the presidential election, and the decision has been made in that regard
