The police say that they officially started their duties related to the upcoming presidential election yesterday.
In addition to their mandatory duties, the police announced that they are planning to set up an election violence monitoring center, which will be established after receiving a written notification from the Election Commission.
The police have further said that they discussed with the officials of the election office and the relevant authorities yesterday and are preparing the future plans regarding the duties related to the election.
