A decision to revoke the party membership of those who oppose the decisions of the Pothattu

The party says that it will take steps to cancel the party membership of the members who work against the decisions of the Lanka Podujana Peramuna.

 The General Secretary of the party, Sagara Kariyawasam, has informed in a letter that the Political Committee of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has taken this decision unanimously.

 A group of that party had recently decided to support the current President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the upcoming presidential election.
