For Namale's political future, it is better not to present a candidate

 

Minister Ramesh Pathirana says that he decided to support the current President Ranil Wickremesinghe because Ranil Wickremesinghe is the current president who can move the country forward at this time.

 The Minister stated that before taking this decision, the decision was taken after consulting the village level party members, local assembly members and public representatives, and the majority opinion was to support the current president.

 Journalists asked the Minister whether the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna decided to present a separate candidate for Namal Rajappaksha's political future and the Minister replied that if a decision is being taken for the political future of Namal Rajappaksha, the best thing at this time is not to present a candidate.
