Foreign media reports that Muhammad Yunus has taken oath as the head of the interim government of Bangladesh.
He took the oath three days after former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled to neighboring India.
The 84-year-old Yunus was sworn in at a ceremony at the President's House in Dhaka, attended by political leaders, civil society leaders, generals and diplomats.
