Prohibition order on provision of e-Visa services



The Supreme Court has issued an interim order preventing the implementation of the decision taken by the Council of Ministers to provide e-Visa services to two foreign companies.


 Also, it is stated that the court has issued another interim restraining order preventing the implementation of the agreement made with the relevant companies.


 It is stated that the Supreme Court has issued this order allowing the hearing of the fundamental rights petitions submitted by MPs MA Sumanthiran, Rauf Hakeem and Patali Champika Ranawaka.
