President Ranil Wickramasinghe says that the "River for Jaffna" project will be started immediately to provide a permanent solution to the long-standing water problem in the north.
The President mentioned this while participating in the opening of Thalaiyadi Seabed Desalination Treatment Plant of "Jaffna-Kilinochchi" water supply project today (02) in the morning.
The President further stated that 15 years have passed since the end of the civil war in the North, and now everyone should continue the development war together.
