Election Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake says that the deal to choose the ruler of the country should not be something that can be sold for money.
He also mentioned that although the problems related to the regulation of election expenses passed last year were not as expected, the Election Commission is working to carry out the related activities at a certain level through what has been received.
He pointed out that money is needed for a vote but voters should not be allowed to become consumers and be sold for money and some limits are needed for election expenses.
