The Department of Meteorology says that occasional rain or thundershowers may occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, South and North-West provinces, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts.

In Eastern, Uva and North Central Provinces, scattered rain or thundershowers may occur in the evening or night.

In the western slopes of the Central Highlands and in the North, North Central and North Western Provinces, and Hambantota District, the wind is blowing at times per km.  There is a possibility of strong winds of 30-40.
