The printing department of the government says that between 600 and 800 million rupees will be spent for the printing of the presidential election, and the amount can be reduced depending on the size of the ballot paper.
Government Press Officer Ganga Kalpani Liyanage said that they informed the Election Commission about this.
The press officer further mentioned that the relevant documents for printing will be received after the announcement of the presidential election, and even so, the census papers of the government officials used for election activities have already been printed.
