President Ranil Wickramasinghe says that he thanks all the members of parliament who were with me.
The President points out that they believed in themselves and their plan when the country was in dire straits, when citizens were struggling without power, fuel, medicine and essentials.
In a Facebook post, the President has mentioned that their commitment and confidence encouraged him in the face of challenges that some believed to be impossible.
Also, the President has further mentioned that the MPs who have not yet joined him are also ready to be part of this journey and that his mission of building a prosperous and united Sri Lanka is still going on.
