The existing low pressure area over central and adjoining north Bay of Bengal is likely to develop into a depression over west-central and adjoining north-west Bay of Bengal sea area on 2 days, 30 August today and 31 tomorrow, moving heavily westward towards northwest. After that, it is expected to move westwards northwestward and reach north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coast, it said.

The marine and fishing communities have been informed not to sail in the above sea areas today and tomorrow, 30th and 31st of August.
