Its leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake says that a National People's Force government focuses mostly on education.
He points out that education has played the main role in the development of all countries that have developed recently, and that the country can be moved forward only by making major changes in education.
He points out that 41% of Singapore's workforce consists of graduates and 21% of professional diploma holders, but only 15% of the country's workforce is professional, and that the country's progress will be determined by how much it dedicates itself to building an educationally advanced human resource.
He mentioned that education will be taken as the first priority under the National People's Power and it will be the responsibility of the government to bring the new knowledge of the world to Sri Lanka.
Addressing the National Conference of the National Teachers' Union yesterday (02), he further emphasized that despite the various interpretations of where the country has fallen, the country can only be rebuilt by transferring power to the national people's power.
