Israel Sri Lanka



The Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel said that Israel's main Ben Gurion Airport will be reopened.


According to the report, he has advised Sri Lankans planning to go to Israel to discuss with their employment agency or foreign employment bureau.


In view of the 48-hour state of emergency announced by Israel yesterday, Ambassador Nimal Bandara asked Sri Lankans in Israel to prioritize their security.   He has informed to avoid reporting to sheltered homeless offices and workplaces.


The Ambassador has also stated that Sri Lankans in Israel will contact the Israeli Embassy in case of any emergency and ensure that they have access to necessary assistance and information during this period.
