The necessary support to conduct the election from the police

 

The Ministry of Public Security says that there is no obstacle from the police to conduct the election.

 Its secretary Viani Gunathilaka said that the necessary support will be provided by the police.

 The Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security Viyani Gunathilaka stated that he informed the Deputy Inspector General of Elections and Senior Deputy Inspectors of Police in charge of the provinces in a letter to deploy police officers as necessary for the security of the presidential election.

 The Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security had agreed yesterday (31) to provide the necessary police officers for the presidential election.
